Ahmet TÜRKOĞLU (General Manager)

After graduating from the International Relations Department of Boğaziçi University in 1996, Ahmet Türkoğlu started his professional career as Store Manager at “Office 1 Superstore” in the same year. Between 1999-2003, he worked as Casio Office Products Sales Manager. Between 2003-2009, he worked as Sales and Marketing Director at Çalık Holding. In 2010, Türkoğlu was appointed to Turkish Petroleum Distribution Company (TPPD) as Vice General Manager and until 2013, he governed a range of functions including sales, marketing, projects and investments, P&R, purchasing, human resources, finance and budgeting while effectively coordinating domestic and international ties. Between 2013-2015, he worked as CEO in Öztürk Group including companies like Opet, Regnum Hotels.

 

Experienced especially in the areas of contract management, purchasing, product management, sales, marketing, branding, positioning, strategic planning and entrepreneurship and engaged as a senior executive in the energy sector, Ahmet Turkoglu has been working as the General Manager of Turkish Energy Company(TEC) since the beginning of 2016. In February 2017, he was also appointed to TPIC as General Manager and Chairman of the Board. Speaking English at advanced level, he is married with four children.

Ercan GÖÇER (Deputy General Manager)

Ercan Göçer was graduated from Middle East Technical University, Dept. of Political Science & Public Administration in 1997 and completed his master’s degree on International Economy, at Robert Gordon University in 1999. Currently, he’s been studying on ‘Foreign Investment’ for a doctoral degree in Marmara University-EU Enstitute. He started his career as foreign trade manager and consultant at private sector and worked there between 2002-2003. Between 2003-2007, he worked as the Deputy Prime Minister responsible from Economic Coordination. Between 2007-2009, he worked as Public Affairs Coordinator at Turkish Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency. Between 2009-2012, he worked at Turkish Prime Ministry Directorate of Foreign Affairs. Following this, he worked as Foreign Relations Manager at Anatolia Agency and General Secretary of the Organization of Asia-Pasific News Agencies (OANA) until 2016. In February 2016, Ercan Göçer was appointed to TPIC as Deputy General Manager. Speaking English, French and Arabic at advanced level, he is married with three children.
 
Fatih YAMAN (Deputy General Manager)

Fatih Yaman graduated from Boğaziçi University Department of Chemical Engineering in 2004 and started his career in 2005 as a site engineer at UMDE Engineering Company. Between 2008 and 2012, he worked as Project Leader in the same company. Between 2012 and 2014, he worked as a senior trading expert in the petroleum trading department of Turkish Petroleum International Company and performed as Oil Trading Manager from 2014 until 2017.

In June 2017, Fatih Yaman was appointed to TPIC as Deputy General Manager. Speaking English at advanced level, he is married with one child.

İlhan ÇELİK (Deputy General Manager)

İlhan Çelik graduated from Yildiz Technical University, Department of Electrical Engineering in 1995 and started his career in the same year. He worked as an Electrical Engineer at Hydroelecric Powerplant, Transformer Manufactory and various Electrical Project Applications between 1995 and 2001. After beginning to work under the structure of Schlumberger in 2001, İlhan Çelik performed as a Drilling Engineer on vertical and directional wells, M/LWD Engineer, DD and Operation Support Engineer until 2011, in countries such as Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Yemen.


Between 2011 and 2015, he worked as Project Manager also for Schlumberger, in Norway, Turkey, Romania and Serbia. From 2016 until the beginning of 2017, İlhan Çelik worked for Weatherford Turkey as DS Coordinator. In June 2017, he was appointed to TPIC as Deputy General Manager. Speaking English at advanced level, he is married with three children.
